This float switch converts bilge pumps to fully automatic operation. It handles a maximum amp draw of 12 amps (at 12-volt D.C.) or 6 amps (at 24-volt D.C.). Engineered with a compact, low-profile design allowing for installation on any surface at angles up to 24°. The reliable mechanical switch activates the pump motor at a 2-inch water level. Unlike some competitor models, the wire leads do not flex or hinge with the float. The integral cover minimizes bilge sloshing to reduce unnecessary pump cycling and prevents debris interference. The sealed switch mechanism is resistant to moisture, fume ignition, and electrical shock, and it contains no mercury, which is recognized as a health hazard in many states.

This float switch can be installed independently or directly onto the rear slots of the V-Series pump bracket. It also features a convenient test knob for pump operation verification.
