This 42-pound anchor is designed for boats between 54 to 62 feet, providing reliable holding power even in tough conditions. It's recommended for use in 30 knots of wind with average windage and proportions for boats of this size. Note that the anchor size may need to increase for stormy weather.
Your setup should include a length of 6-12 ft (2-4 m) of chain combined with three-strand nylon rope, ensuring a minimum of 5:1 scope. For deeper waters, use a minimum of 6 ft (2 m) of chain for every 25 ft (8 m) of depth to ensure optimal performance.
