The K-1775-3 with Enhance Weather Protection is a robust security solution equipped with a built-in 125KHz 26-bit Wiegand proximity card reader. This device ensures secure access through LED and beep card read confirmation, along with EWP board protection.

Featuring a high-resolution analog NTSC color video camera, the unit provides a wide viewing angle, tilt/swivel adjustments, and operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 140°F. The audio and video transmission occurs via a single CAT5E cable.

This device is compatible with a variety of Viking Proximity Cards and Fobs, namely PRX-C, PRX-C-ISO, and PRX-FOB (DOD 198). Built to resist vandalism, it boasts a 14 gauge louvered 316 stainless steel faceplate adorned with permanent laser etched graphics. Additionally, it has a stainless steel “Call” button, a heavy-duty metal keypad, and T-10 Torx security screws, topped off with a scratch-resistant powder coating.

Weather-resistant features include a marine grade 316 stainless steel faceplate, screws, and push-button switch, with the switch internally sealed as per IP67 standards. The Mylar speaker and self-draining mic mount, along with faceplate, mic, and speaker gaskets ensure durability in harsh conditions. The K-1775-3-EWP meets the IP66 Ingress Protection Rating (see DOD 859 for more information).

Available in two standard faceplate finishes: 316 brushed stainless steel or oil-rubbed bronze powder paint. The device also includes a blue “in use” LED for easy status indication, is telephone line powered, and allows for volume adjustments for both microphone and speaker. It features advanced call progress detection, including disconnection on busy signals, return to dial tone, CPC, reorder tone, maximum call time-out, and 40 seconds silence time-out, alongside a selectable auto-answer feature ideal for monitoring.

Included is a zinc-plated steel rough-in box with (2) 3/4” conduit knockouts for convenient installation.
