The Total Access 612 T1 ATM is a robust network interface designed for VoATM and VoIP applications. It features Echo Cancellation (G.168) and ADPCM (G.726) compression resources, ensuring high-quality voice transmission.
For those upgrading from a 2nd Generation TA 612/616/624 T1 TDM to ATM, an additional Echo Cancellation and ADPCM compression resource module may be required unless it was initially included.
Equipped with fixed FXS ports available in configurations of 4, 8, 12, 16, or 24 ports, this device uses a 50-pin female Amphenol connector for Carrier Class analog POTS interfaces.
The integral IP router supports 10/100BaseT Ethernet, facilitating DHCP, NAT/PAT, packet filtering, and RIP V1/V2. Additionally, it features a Layer 2 PPP and Frame Relay V.35 synchronous DTE interface.
Housed in a durable metal casing, it comes with a 10-year warranty and is AC powered. A battery backup option is available separately or can be bundled with the base unit.
